Sunroofs and rear sliders excluded. Warranty does not cover accidents, theft, natural catastrophes, at-fault damage, or damage related to pre-existing pinchweld rust. Full terms provided with your invoice.

No. In Ontario and Quebec you choose who repairs your vehicle — an insurer can suggest a preferred vendor, but the decision is yours. Tell them you're using The Glassmobile and we'll take it from there, including billing them directly.
The rough rule: if the damage is smaller than a loonie and it isn't sitting directly in the driver's line of sight, it's usually repairable. Cracks that have started to run, or damage at the edge of the glass, generally mean replacement. Send us a photo and we'll tell you honestly — a repair is the cheaper job for you and we'll say so when it's the right call.
About 45 minutes for a standard windshield, plus calibration time on ADAS-equipped vehicles. We'll also give you the safe drive-away time for the urethane we used before we pack up — that part matters more than the install time.
If your vehicle has lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control or automatic emergency braking, the camera running those systems is mounted to the windshield. Replacing the glass moves the camera, so it has to be re-aimed. Skipping it means those safety systems are silently pointed at the wrong spot. We include certified calibration on every replacement.
Most of the year, yes — our vans carry what's needed to control the work area. In extreme cold, heavy snow or driving rain we'll recommend the shop on Stevenage Drive instead. It's the same crew, the same glass and the same warranty; we just won't cut corners on cure conditions to save you a drive.
We use OEE — Original Equipment Equivalent — glass, manufactured to the original specification without the vehicle brand's logo etched in the corner. Same fit, same optical spec, same sensor compatibility, meaningfully lower cost. It's also the glass tied to the $100 Esso card on approved insurance claims.
